Christmas day is the busiest day to everyone. I decorated this cake was very quick. Surprisingly it was come out very nice. Almost 2 hours to took this cake decoration.

For Icing

1 cups butter, 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
2 tbsp warm water

For the Frosting

In a large bowl with a stand mixer, using the whisk attachment, mix the icing sugar, butter, vegetable shortening and little bit of warm water until all combined.
Whisk on high for about 10 -12 minutes or until light and fluffy.
Add the almond extract, mix until combined.

In a small bowl, scoop some frosting for tint pink color, set aside.

Stack 2x9" vanilla butter cake, in between spread 1" of frosting between each layer.
Then coat entire cake, thin, layer of frosting.
Place the cake in a refrigerator for 30 - 50 minutes until frosting has set.
Take out of the  refrigerator, using a spatula, spread the frosting to the cake until level.
Take the white frosting, and tint sweet pink is on the outside of the cake.
Using a toothpick take a little red icing color, and smear around the frosted cake. Then spread the red color around using spatula.
I always use fondant, but this time I use buttercream icing with some sweet pink color.
The cake topper is my hand made pink and white rose with gold leaf.
