Graduation Cake

This was my daughter's graduation cake for graduation from university.
This cake is perfect for the graduation celebration table. This is one of my favorite sheet cake.

I bake two layers of 12" square vanilla butter cakes. I spread almond flavor butter cream icing, between the layers. Then I crumb coated the cake, covered with fondant icing. Used a shell tip, decorate shell border around the bottom of the cake. Placed the graduation girl and graduation hap are on top of the cake.

For the cake I wrote her degree on a fondant scroll.  The diploma scroll also fondant. The roses are hand made royal icing.
